PRODUCTION CUTTING
Description
- Milling logs to maximum width of log cant, to 4/quarter; minimum job size of 1,000 board feet of finished product.
Pricing:
Sawmill setup charge: $150
$.87 per board foot, for any amount over 1,000 feet. Any amount less than 1,000 feet is considered custom cutting
CUSTOM CUTTING
Description
- Milling logs for jobs less than 1,000 board feet, square edge or live edge.
- Dimensional lumber for timber framing, fireplace mantles, cabinetry or trim pieces.
- Special slab cuts for creative projects or products
Pricing:
- Pick up and Delivery of your logs/lumber: $150.00, up to 3 logs, any length to a maximum of 16’3”.
- Log Prep Charge: $75.00 for logs from 8’6” to 16’3”; $150.00 for logs less than 8’6”
- On the Mill: $87.00 per hour includes:
- Live edge cutting
- Square edge cutting
- Conventional or custom width and thickness
- Stickers and Bases:
- Sticker stacking your order, 4’x4’ x (up to) 12’6” per stack, $227.00, bound
- Stickers only: Quantity of 168: 1”x1”x 4’ long stickers: $42.00
- Bases only: Quantity of 7: 5”x5”x 4’ long base: $55.00
DESIGN SERVICES
Description
- Design services for green wood built screen porches, front porches, or studios.
- Design services for kiln dried wood, for use in cabinetry, doors, furniture making, or trim work.
Pricing:
Work with Dan for a uniquely designed porch, fireplace mantel, table, cabinet, studio, sauna — whatever can be made of wood! $65 per hour or as quoted by Dan for the specific project.
